Double race winner in Zandvoort!
[GB]
A special weekend for Dries. Racing so close to his hometown for the first time since making the step to British F4 was expected to be wonderful, and it certainly was.
Dries took pole for both Race 1 and Race 3 in qualifying with quite a comfortable gap.
Dries won R1. The race was interrupted by the safety car, but Dries handled it well, kept his focus, and saw the chequered flag first.
R2 was a reverse-grid race, as always, but it had very little racing action, so he was only able to gain some places and finished P9.
R3 also had quite some safety car interruptions, but Dries’ restarts were on point and he could hold the lead until the end of the race.
Back at the top of the championship with a 46-point lead
