Positive weekend overall in Snetterton.
[GB]
Another strong and consistent weekend for Dries.
In qualifying he clocked the 6th best time and the 4th best second-best time, which decided the grid for Race 1.
A great start in Race 1 had put Dries in P3 and that’s where he stayed throughout the whole race, just like everybody else in a race that didn’t see many overtakes.
Race 2, the reverse grid race, was one with some absolutely amazing overtakes by Dries. Two passes around the outside in places where no one would presume it was possible. And all this while almost all of his competitors in front were on a fresher set of tires. Phenomenal.
Race 3 had a similar scenario to Race 1, although this time Dries lost 2 places at the start but managed to regain 1. After the safety car restart it was next to impossible to make a move. So P7 it was.
Still a very consistent weekend, which makes Dries the only driver in the current top 5 to have scored points in every race of the season.
